Mary O Shea

SU President

My name is Mary O’Shea and having put down four glorious years studying at Letterkenny, I decided to run for President. My role as President is to represent you as best I can on both a local and national level. My college experience has been phenomenal and I truly want you to have just as good an experience as I had, if not better!

Welfare

On behalf of the institute I would like to extend a welcome to returning students to the college and hope that the incoming year will be as fantastic as the last. For new students I would like to wish you a warm welcome. It can be daunting and scary settling into third level education but remember to take things one day at a time. I hope that you have a fantastic time and don’t be afraid to ask any questions.

Entertainment/Communications

Welcome back to all our returning students and a warm welcome to all first years, international and mature students. For fresher’s, it can take time to adjust to third level education. Meeting new classmates and adjusting to new timetables can be challenging. However, I’m sure you will find time fly in as you master it all with ease.
